Happy 4th of July!
We spent most of the day being lazy bones and goofing off around the house. That evening friends Jeff and Courtney came over for burgers and hot dogs and such. Because she hadn't napped and we we're eating so late, Natalie ended up crashing on our bed before we could go do fireworks. She's napping now, so maybe we can have 5th of July fireworks tonight!

We did have a grand 5th of July fireworks show on the cul-de-sac, and Natalie was a bit unsure of what to think. At first she would just echo my "oohs, aahs, and wows" but then when some of the bigger ones had whistling noises she decided she'd had enough. It was still fun, and we know she'll love it more next year.
