A Day At The Museum

Last week we went to Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville.
Here are some highlights:

Astronaut Natalie

Miner Natalie panning for gemstones

Archaeologists Natalie and Parker
Looks like they're consulting on a find!

Natalie and Parker being "scared" of T-Rex

I was kinda scared of these guys
Natalie and Lindsey being eaten by Jaws' Great Great Grandpa

The Periodic Table of the Elements in the most fascinating presentation I've ever seen.
If I'd had this in high school I might have enjoyed Chemistry.

Bismuth:

The most entertaining element: Francium
"no known uses"

Thanks, Tellus, for a good day not too far from home. We'll see you in a year or two when the kiddos are older and a little more "museum ready". =)

That looks like a great museum!

I've tried learning the periodic table by just memorizing the names and numbers, the hard way. That display is awesome! I'd love to see it up close, and maybe the table would actually stick in my memory!
