Shining Star

For the second time this year, Natalie has come home with a



This one was for
"Good Listening and Following Directions."

She told me, "I work(ed) hard."

I know that she did.

Later at Target she picked out a book and said, "Maybe for my birthday." I snuck it in the buggy and surprised her when we got home and told her,

"I'm so proud of you!"

Motherhood is so rewarding.

Isn't it?? I miss being home with the kids so much, but I think it's helping me appreciate them more when I am home!

Good for you Lisa. In my opinion, if a child ever shows interest in a specific book, then if possible buy it for them. Books are one of the few things where I think instant gratification is acceptable.
