Get Me Outta Here
So driving home last week (pre-flood) I came upon this not so uncommon dilemma:
Note the red lights.
Note the speed limit sign.
Note the speed my car is moving.
Note the frustration in this moment.
So, I thought I need a vacation!
Then I thought, We need to move!
Guess What!?
Josh and I are taking our first ever ~ well, first in 3.75 years ~ childless vacation. That's right, smack in between my birthday and his we're headed to the beach for a week. More to come on this, I'm certain.
AND!
We've met with Realtors, we've looked at houses, and provided the appraisal comes back as a figure worth our trouble, we're outta here! We'll be moving back to the Athens area, Oconee County. Near and dear to our families and in a wonderful school system, and far, far away from Atlanta traffic (for me). This I promise to keep you posted on, too!
Happy Wednesday night to you all!

Sleeping Bag Follow Up
at 9:00 I talked to Natalie ~ expecting it to be the hour-and-a-half late "night night" conversation. But no, first words out of her mouth were "I'm still going!" Indeed you are!
At 11:15 Josh tells me that Grandma has been in the room with the girls and their sleeping bags reading stories for a time period so long they had to take a potty break.
By 12:15 Josh reports all is quiet but he's not going in the room to see if there is any actual sleeping going on.
