Georgia Girls
Yes, we've gone to yet another Georgia Bulldogs event.
Today was G-Day.
Also known as the Red and Black Game.
Josh and I went to this game 10 years ago as a part of our first-date weekend.
My, how things have changed.
2001: 3,000 fans, no officials, no broadcasting, just a good ole scrimmage.
2011: 43,000 fans, SEC officials, Radio & Television broadcasting, Halftime Show.
Still SO much fun!

Natalie & I went to the side lines to get a closer look (and hopefully a hug) from Hairy Dog. In these 10 years the hedges have grown about 2 feet and this shot was taken by Natalie as I was holding her as high as I possibly good.
This picture was also taken by Natalie.
I think the girl's got a good eye!

PICS!
Now don't get too excited. I'm not releasing before and afters until there are some truly finished afters to take. But here are a few in progresses to tide you over.

Updates, Assorted
The carpet is in upstairs. I bought a couch off craig's list that Josh pretends to hate. Pending some kind of ottoman or end table thing, that room can be crossed off as done. (mind you, we're just talking about the master -- not the bath or closets).
Natalie LOVES her new school. She's played with the same girl for the last 3 days, so that's promising. Plus, she's ofically registered for Kindergarten next year.
The new lighting in the kitchen looks great. Now we need a back splash tiled in.
We bought the girls bedroom set today. Their new bedding came in a few days ago and the matching valance was an eBay find. With some trim paint their room will be crossed off as well. (Closet included this time!)
The hardwoods for the office are still about 2 weeks away. I think they're coming by rowboat from Thailand.
The guest room is painted, trim and all.
Still not sure what to do about a breakfast table.
I really want to clean light fixtures for my next "to do."
Made the Tree House the meeting place in case of fire and installed a smoke detector on the girls' of the house. Natalie said she'd be sure to wear her socks and shoes when she went outside, should it go off. Hard to replace on important lesson with another when you're five.
I can not express how much I love being able to drop the kids off at Grandma's house. Or have my dad show up over here with extra tools and a willing hand. Or meeting my brother for lunch. Or having my mom come over just to come over.

Packing
Ugh.
Ow.
Oomph.
I'm packing the Canton house.
Josh is in Bogart, fixing up that house.
My Little Women are being shuffled
between grandparent's houses and
are smiling the whole time.
